on THURSDAY JUNE 19, 2025 at 11 AM to 2PM. At 12 Noon the DRUM CALL will start with the ORIGINAL 64th Street BEACH DRUMMERS kicking off the FREEDOM celebration.
FREE PARKING: From North Lake Shore Drive – Take DuSable Lake Shore Drive south the the 56th Street exit. Turn right: (The Museum of Science and Industry will be on your left). Drive tow blocs west to South Hyde Park Blvd. and turn right at the signal intersecion. Tale Spitj Hyde Park Blvd. morth to East 555th Street. Turn right on East 55th Street. Proceed three blocs to the cul de sac. The Promontory Point’s parking lot is on your right. Street parking is available in the vicinity. To get to the EAST SIDE of the POINT, take the path to the tunnel/inderpass and proceed east under DuSable Lake Shore Drive.
